Sharing the love at B&A

Little Churches are starting to find ways to help each other, working to their own strengths.

A few months ago, members of Cromwell Road Little Church heard that Gwenyth (from SouperThursday) had a lot of tulip bulbs that needed planting – not something she was able to do herself. So they went round and spent half a day digging and planting. As a result Gwenyth now has a garden filled with beautiful tulips. And they helped her find a gardener who can keep the weeds at bay on a regular basis.

Last week Stacy from ‘Baby Steps’ organised  a ‘Peppa Pig’s Muddy Puddle Walk’ round St Andrews Park to raise funds for Save the Children. The finishing point was refreshments and a cake sale in St Bart’s Hall, provided by members of Souper Thursday. It was great to see three generations enjoying themselves together – and all in a good cause too.
