New Life at B&A

Over the last few weeks we’ve seen the people of B&A connecting with and serving the city in a Beautiful way.

On Sunday 3rd February, Bev Cavender and team hosted a Window Wanderland Workshop, open to all. People left with their own window displays and contributed to a display for our site on the Gloucester Road.

The next day, Life Group hosted a Pan-Asian meal for about 100 people, most of whom were invited as guests to share in a fun evening. Between the courses a few of the international students explained why they love Life Group and Chiew Li shared why she is a Christian.

The next day it was great to welcome our new Bishop, Viv Faull to our 10.30am gathering as she helped us to begin our journey through John’s account of Jesus’ trial and crucifixion. It was moving to be a part of a church that got on its knees together in response to her word. Later that evening, guests at Alpha heard more about the good news of Jesus.

New life continues to emerge as the Christian Meditation course continues and as Soul Food Bristol edges closer to its launch. More on that to come…
