We're a church in the north centre of Bristol, with a number of meeting points just off the vibrant Gloucester Road.
For the past year we’ve been gathering on Sundays at B&A Gloucester Road and as of September 2017 we are relocating to B&A St Andrews Park. This is an exciting step for us. Whether you’re wanting to find out more about Jesus or looking for a church to call home, we’re really glad you’ve found us!
Over recent years we have been exploring what it means to be a family who seek to put church within touching distance of people’s lives – to address the fact that many people no longer connect with church, or maybe even know where to find one.
We want everyone to discover the beauty of living life as a disciple of Jesus. So our collective life is all about helping people to be disciples, this basically means learning to make decisions for Jesus in our everyday lives. We do this through four key practices: join a community; live a life of prayer; tell others; come to a gathering.
The building blocks of our church are our communities: Little Churches. Joining a Little Church means you will find a new group of friends who will help you find out more of what it means to be a disciple of Jesus. In community we are able to learn more about what it means to live a life of prayer and to tell others.
From our individual lives and communities we come together on Sundays. We gather as a whole family with other Little Churches to celebrate His love, and what He is doing in the world and in us. Gatherings are when Kids’ Church and Youth groups also meet.
As part of the Church of England we have responsibility for the area of Bristol known as the Gloucester Road, but people come from all over the city to join us. We are also friends of the HTB Network of churches - a family of churches committed to seeing the nation changed with the Good News of Jesus and society transformed. A key part of this is a commitment to church planting and renewal. Each summer we gather as churches at Focus, an annual festival held in the New Forest.
We’d love to meet you. Why not come to a gathering and say hi or make contact with a Little Church and find out more about who we are and what we do.
