Jesus being for everyone, Jew and Gentile was a real challenge for the early Church, in Acts 15 they react by asking themselves: what of our old tradition really is important and relevant for the Church going forward? In our lives, what things might we need to let go of or take hold of?

In this part of Acts there are three types of news: Fake, Bad and Good. The fake news is you need to be circumcised to be saved. The bad news is you need to be saved. The good news is that Jesus saves.

All through Acts we see the results of the fire of the Holy Spirit as the Church spread the message of Jesus. At the end of Acts 14, we see the fire of the Holy Spirit catching in a way that will spread across Asia Minor into Europe...

We all come to Jesus is a different manner, just as the disciples did, carrying our own hopes, fears and baggage. We hear from the Apostle Peter, years after Jesus' resurrection...

The world needs free people. Jesus has come to set us free. What has he come to free us for? What is a sign that we’re not living in freedom? And what can we do about it?
