Our Story

Hello & Welcome!

You have a purpose. A God-given purpose. We would love to help you discover and grow into your purpose.

We are so thankful that we got to hear the good news of Jesus. It has changed our lives. We believe that everyone in Bristol should get to hear the good news of Jesus too.

We’d love you to come and join in with what God is doing.

Why am I here?

People are turning up at church and they don’t really know why they’re there. They’ve got loads of questions and we’ve got a place for all of those questions and more. It’s called Alpha.

Adonna’s story

This is the story of Adonna. She’s really precious to us and precious to God. She came to a service a few Christmases ago expecting a ‘mince pie and a carol’ and got a whole lot more…

B&A Meals

Jesus said it’s more blessed to give than to receive. A few years ago, God blessed us with a team of people who wanted to serve a weekly meal for anyone who needed it. It’s called ‘Soul Food’. After a few years, we wanted to share what we had with other churches around the city. Now we have this ministry called B&A Meals, working with over 20 church partners across the city to serve nearly 700 meals per week to the poor and the lonely. Here’s Isy sharing how important this is.

We love to worship.

The first commandment is to love God with everything we have. Here’s what it sounds like to worship with us at B&A.

More Tea, Vicar? Podcast

We live in a mad world! It isn’t always easy being a Christian today in front of friends, colleagues and maybe even family. More tea, Vicar? is a recorded conversation between our two vicars in which they address the topical stuff of our culture and bring a Christian response. We think it’s a really healthy supplement to our Sunday talks.

Our Vision

This is a short video from one of our vicars, James, explaining the different ways in which you can get involved at B&A Church.

Bringing Bristol to Jesus?

We do really believe that everyone in Bristol should get to hear the good news of Jesus. We love working with our partner churches through B&A meals to make this real. We know that there are loads of other churches in the city who want the same thing. This is our explanation of what it means to us.

Our Values

Values are the things we celebrate and honour in each other that help us become who God made us to be.

At B&A we value faith, hope and love - the simple things, knowing that valuing those things is the way to bring Bristol to Jesus.
