Paul Sankey talks about the biblical meaning of "temple", how Jesus described himself as a temple and that there are places where heaven overlaps with earth. God is dispersing throughout Bristol, throughout the world, in us. We, are the place of God's presence on earth.

There's around 220 words in this passage. About 70 of them have theological meaning. James picks out 3 of those words to help us understand this passage today, whilst telling three stories from the same day in 2017.

In the second of B&A’s new Autumn Talks series Wayne Massey discusses Paul’s letter to the Ephesians; how Paul prays his readers would receive all they need from God. In this talk Wayne unpacks the elements of Paul's prayer and how they matter for us today.

Paul begins his letter to the Ephesians by reminding them of who they have become in Jesus. What does that mean for them and us?

On Sunday, James spoke about Jesus' encounter with the man born blind in John's gospel and explored where we as disciples find home, how we get there and how we can help others to discover it.

This Sunday Wayne spoke about Jesus' encounter with the Samaritan woman at the well and how when we come home to a relationship with Jesus, we are filled and sustained by the Spirit, we are freed from the stories that contain us and we can see the world differently.

Where is home? This Sunday James spoke about Andrew’s encounter with Jesus from John Chapter 1. We looked at Andrew’s question “Where are you staying?” - what it meant for him then and what it means for us now and for the people in our lives we want to introduce to Jesus.

This Sunday we welcomed guest speaker Richard Moy from SOMA UK. Richard spoke on what it means to not fear death but to know that our names are written in the book of life.
