When God Comes Down
Wayne kicks off our new sermon series on the book of Micah by unpacking chapter 1:1-16. He explores the historical context, the prophetic warnings, and the urgent call to repentance that God delivered to His people through Micah. A powerful message that challenges us and leads us to deeper relationship with Jesus.
Holiness and Suffering
James concludes our Holiness series with a powerful message on holiness and suffering, drawing from 2 Corinthians 4:1-18. He divides the passage into three key points: the message of Christianity, how we suffer well, and what happens when we suffer well. James helps us understand that while suffering is not God's desire for us, He can use it to shape us. At the cross, God Himself endured suffering, and with that in mind, we can begin to grasp how to suffer well. Suffering is a part of walking in relationship with God. We can choose to merely endure suffering, or we can draw closer to Jesus, suffering with Him as He did, knowing that through our suffering, He is making us holy.
The Hope of Holiness
This week, Chris continues our sermon series on holiness with a message on the hope found in holiness. He walks us through 1 Thessalonians 4:3-5, highlighting how the gospel offers the promise of becoming fully holy - not just in this life, but in the life to come.
Holiness and The World
