Volunteer Van Drivers – B&A Meals

Each week B&A Meals prepares and shares over 800 meals across Bristol, helping bring hope and practical support to people through local Warm Space hubs and community partners.

Some meals are served at B&A Church, some are collected by partners, but many are delivered across the city by our van — and that’s where our volunteer drivers make a huge difference.

We’re looking to grow a team of volunteer van drivers who can help deliver meals to our partners across Bristol. It’s a simple but important role that helps ensure meals reach the people and organisations who need them.

You don’t need to commit every week — even occasional help makes a real difference.

  • Volunteer drivers help deliver prepared meals from B&A Church to partner venues across the city.

    Typically this involves:

    • Collecting meals from B&A Church

    • Delivering them to 2–4 partner locations

    • A route that usually takes around 60–90 minutes

    • Helping ensure meals arrive safely and on time

Full guidance is provided, and a member of the team will support you as you get started.

  • Below are some of our current delivery routes. These occasionally change, and new routes are added regularly as new partners come on board.

    Monday – starting at 11:00am

Lockleaze → Brislington → City Centre

Tuesday – starting at either 10:50am or 11:30am

Various routes including Hanham, Speedwell, Avonmouth and Lawrence Weston

Tuesday afternoon – starting at 4:00pm

St Pauls → Concord → Filwood (monthly)

    Wednesday – starting at 11:00am

    Southmead → Sea Mills

    Thursday – starting at 11:40am

    Knowle West → Bedminster

Thursday afternoon – starting at 5:00pm

    Bristol University → Clifton

Whether you’re able to help regularly or just occasionally, we’d love to hear from you.
