God wants to end cynicism in your life. It begins in encounter. Abraham learns that with God nothing is impossible, He can be trusted.

Abram has a problem. He’s left all to follow God but he is not so sure all that has been promised is going to happen. In Genesis 15 God steps in. Meeting Abram’s doubt and giving him reasons to have faith. Reasons that apply to us today.

This week James explains some lessons from Genesis 13 about how we can follow Jesus

Is the flood story simply for Sunday School and kids’ Bibles or are their truths about God in it that apply today? From Genesis 6,7 & 8 we look at the aspects of God’s judgement on Noah’s world and how it applies to our world.

This week James looks at the story of Cain and Abel and asks what difference Christ makes to our human condition and how we relate to one another.

Charles and Jane jointly explore Genesis 3 when death came into creation and work and marriage were disrupted. But despite our rebellion, God constantly calls to us: Where are you?

We live in a world where we're meant to show our best all the time. But what do we do with our worst? With the stuff we don't want anyone to see? We hide it away. Where it builds up. Psalm 102 shows us what God wants for all that stuff and to remember to bring it to Him.

On first reading Psalm 94 seems to be about God, the righteous and just judge, destroying the wicked. But as we understand more of God’s righteousness and justice, we also begin to realise the amazing extent of his love for each one of us.

Unity is a precious and beautiful gift from God, and yet seems like an impossible task, through Psalm 133 we look at how the Church, through being unified can reveal the person of Jesus.
